  China International Travel Mart 2007(CITM2007) has been held at the Kunming International Convention&Exhibition Center from November1 to 4. With a total area of 50,000sqm, CITM2007 included 2,193 exhibition booths, 229 more than those of CITM2005 held in Kunming, or an increase of 11.7 percent. Of them, the domestic exhibition booths numbered 1,355, making up 62 percent of the total, 151 more than those of CUTM2005, or an increase of 12.5 percent. The delegation of Yunnan Province, the host of CITM2007, had 252 exhibition booths; the overseas exhibition booths reached 838, making up 38 percent of the total; 142 more than those of CITM 2005, or an increase of 20.4 percent. The raw space booths numbered 2,056, making up 94 percent of the total and the standard shell scheme booths came to 137, accounting for 6 percent of the total.
 
A total of 92 countries and regions participated in CITM2007, 10 more than those of CITM2005(81 countries and regions), or an increase of about 12 percent. The countries and regions that participated in CITM2007 included China, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Oman, Brunei, Singapore, Japan, Syria, Indonesia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, the Philippines, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Qatar, Laos, Taiwan Region, Israel, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Macao Special Administrative Region, Myanmar, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Russia, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Greece, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, Czech republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, The Republic of Belarus, Finland Australia, Fiji, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tuvalu, Tonga, Kiribati, Micronesia, Solomon Islands, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Niue, the United States, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Jamaica, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mauritius, Kenya, Tunisia, Morocco, Namibia, Botswana, Seychelles, Egypt and Zambia.
 
The 11countries and regions that participated in the CITM for the first time are Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Latvia, Namibia, Botswana, Estonia, Lithuania and The Republic of Belarus.
 
A total of 222 delegations of exhibitors attended CITM2007, including 31 delegations of all the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, 34 domestic independent delegations, and 157 overseas delegations.
 
In terms of regions, the exhibitors of Asia made up 71.08 percent; those of Europe 17.24; those of Oceania, 0.89 percent; those of America, 9.67 percent, and those of Africa, 1.12 percent.
 
In terms of operation type, the exhibitors of travel agencies will account for 36.26 percent; those of hotels or hotel management groups.25.43 percent; those of tourism organs, 20.14 percent; those of tourist attractions, 9.75 percent; those of airlines, 5.80 percent; those of tourist companies, 0.52 percent; those of computer reservation systems and others, 0.48 percent; and those of other tourism enterprises, 1.62 percent..
