Q: Who is qualified as a buyer? I’m an overseas travel agent receiving Chinese tourists. Can I register as a buyer?
A: “CITM buyer” indicates overseas tour operators and travel agents who are selling routes and tourist products of China mainland. In your case, you can participate in the CITM as an exhibitor or buy an entry permit to visit the mart.
Q: What procedures do I have to fulfill to be recognized as a buyer?
A: Please register online. Your application will be checked by the relative China Tourist Office. You’ll have your formal user name and password received by email afterwards. The deadline of this year’s online registration is 1st Nov. If you’re interested in CITM, please register online as soon as possible.
Q: I get the user name and password, but I can’t login. What should I do?
A: Please send your information including your name, company, user name etc. to: omc@cnta.gov.cn as soon as possible. We’ll help you.
Q: When CITM will be held this year?
A: 16th -19th Nov.
16-17: professional trade days
18-19: open to the public
Q: Is it too late to register as a CITM buyer now? Can I still make a booking in a CITM designated hotel at preferential price?
A: The buyers’ online registration will be stopped on 1st Nov., so will be the preferential price of the hotel.
If you can’t register in time, you are welcome to participate in the CITM2007. All information will be posted on our website.

A: CITM2007 : 1st – 4th Nov. ,Kunming International Conference and Exhibition Center (KMICEC).
CITM2008 : 20th – 23rd Nov. , Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC),
CITM2009 : 19th – 22nd Nov. , KMICEC

Q: I’m already recognized as a CITM buyer. Can I participate in the post tour? What is the schedule of this year’s post tour?

09:00 departure from the designated hotel to Pudong
10:00 visit of the Museum of Chinese Traditional Medicine, dominant view of Pudong on the 88th floor of Jinmao Tower

13:30 visit of Pudong Century Avenue, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum, Oriental Art Center, Riverside Avenue
15:30 end of tour, back to hotel
Q: Do you have airport transportation service for buyers upon their arrival and leaving?
A: We’ll provide free shuttle bus for buyers arriving on 15th Nov. between Pudong International Airport and the designated hotels. If you stay at other hotel, you can take our shuttle bus to a designated hotel, then take a taxi. The taxi fee should be born by yourself.
After the CITM trade days, we’ll arrange shuttle bus on 18th and 19th Nov. between the designated hotels and the airport. please confirm to our staff if you need the airport transportation service when you make your on-the-spot registration.
Q: How can I make my on-the-spot registration and get my entry permit and all documents necessary in Shanghai?
A: You’ll find buyer registration desk at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on 15th Nov. from 9:00a.m. – 5:00 p.m .and 16th Nov. from 7:30a.m – 12:00a.m. You’ll be asked to show the printed confirmation page (with bar code on it) and your business card to get your buyer’s badge, tickets for several big events during the Mart and lunch coupons of 16th and 17th, as well as some other documents.
Q: Will you provide shuttle bus service between the hotel and the Expo Center? Will the shuttle bus be available only in designated hotels?
A: We provide buyers designated hotels at preferential price. The shuttle bus service will be operated according to the hotel booking.
The shuttle bus will be available between designated hotels and Expo Center. The route and timetable of shuttle bus will be posted on CITM website, and will be sent to you by email at the same time. You can also find a daily shuttle bus timetable on the bulletin board in your hotel lobby.
