A. Points for Attention
1.
Q:  Can we withdraw from the Exhibition ahead of the schedule, and take away our publicity materials and exhibits?
A: According to the regulations, all exhibitors should pay equal attention to the day open to the public and to the days for business talks, and should not withdraw from the exhibition ahead of the schedule with any reasons.
 
2.
Q:  Can I enter the exhibition hall with the “EXHIBITOR Pass” during the construction period?
A: Yes. Exhibitors can enter the exhibiton halls on the strength of the “EXHIBITOR Pass” during the construction period (November 8-10).
 
3.
Q:  When and where can I get my EXHIBITOR pass and Official Directory?
A: If you’re the leader of a delegation who has directly signed up with the CITM Organizing Committee, or an independent exhibitor, you can register at the Registration Center and get the EXHIBITOR passes and other relevant materials. If you are not the leader of a delegation who has directly signed up with the CITM Organizing Committee, nor an independent exhibitor, you may contact your delegation leader to get your EXHIBITOR pass and Official Directory.
 
4.
Q:  What should I do if I cannot get in touch with our delegation leader at CITM?
A: The CITM Organizing Committee suggests that you should get the mobile phone number of your delegation leader before leaving for CITM, which will help you contact him or her at any time.
 
5.
Q:  What can I do if I have lost my EXHIBITIOR pass and I am not allowed to enter the exhibition halls?
A: As CITM is always crowded with people, all exhibitors must take good care of their own passes. The loss of your pass or other certificates will cause great inconvenience for you, because the CITM Organizing Committee will not issue any temporary passes to you.
 
6.
Q:  I am the leader of a delegation. I forget to bring the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth. What shall I do?
A: The Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth is the only certificate that can be changed into the EXHIBITOR passes from the registration center. An exhibitor will make registration at the designated place and get the passes on the strength of the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth. If the original copy is lost or damaged, or it is not convenient for the delegation leader to present the original copy, the delegation leader will inform the CITM Organizing Committee in person of the invalidation of the original copy before October 27, 2016, and the on-site confirmation method will be decided separately through consultation.
 
7.
Q:  What shall I do if I lose the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth, and someone makes registration on the strength of my original copy?
A: Be sure to take good care of your original copy. If it is lost, you must inform the Organizing Committee of the invalidation of the original copy before October 30, 2014. If you fail to make a statement overdue, and someone else claims it, you will take sole responsibility for the event. 
 
8.
Q:  What is the “One-Ticket and One-Pass System”?
A: On the days for business talks (November 11 and 12), the CITM will adopt the “One-ticket and One-Pass System”. All exhibitors will enter the exhibition halls on the strength of both the passes and admission tickets. On the day open to the public (November 13), one may enter the exhibition halls on the strength of a pass or a ticket. Those who have OFFICIAL CONTRACTOR passes, and OUTSIDE NON-OFFICIAL CONTRACTOR passes are not allowed to enter the exhibition halls during CITM (before17:00 fromNovember 11-13).
 
9.
Q:  What shall we do if there are spelling mistakes of the contents on our companies in the Official Directory and the List of Exhibitors ?
A: To safeguard exhibitors’ interests and ensure the correctness of information, the CITM Organizing Committee shall not accept any hand-written Application for Entry into CITM 2016 Official Directory & List of Exhibitors. The application must be filled in strictly according to the normal form and contents in E-edition.
 
 
B. Construction Guide
10.
Q: What are the “shell scheme booth” and the “raw space booth” ? What is the cost difference between them?
A: The “shell scheme booth” refers to an independent exhibition booth surrounded or semi-surrounded by wall panels, with an area of nine square meters, which is equipped with some exhibition tools, such as tables and chairs. The “raw space booth” refers to a raw space without any equipment and fences. In general, the rent of a shell scheme booth is higher than that of a raw space booth. The shell scheme booth is the first choice for exhibitors of small-scale. Though the rent of a raw space booth is slightly lower than that of a shell scheme booth, the exhibitor also needs to pay the “management fees for the raw space”, “construction fees for the exhibition booth”, “connection fees for electrical appliances” and other expenses. Hence, the raw space booth is suitable for large-scale exhibitors to make showcases.
 
11.
Q: Why do some booths have two fascia boards, but my booth has only one?
A: Each of the shell scheme booths on the corner has two fascia boards, and each of the booths in the middle has only one.
 
12.
Q:  I have bought more than one shell scheme booths, which are in a row. Can I get rid of the partition boards between them and turn them into an integral whole?
A: Exhibitors are not allowed to get ride of partition boards without of your shell scheme booths, please contact the official contractor timely so as to avoid making unnecessary payment because of reconstruction after you come to the site. For detail, please refer to the Application for Facilities Rental.
 
13.
Q:  We need to hang our posters and promotion articles in the air 2,400 mm above the ground, but the shell scheme booth we rent does not allow us to hang such high promotion articles. What can we do?
A: Before you subscribe for an exhibition booth, you need to consider the type of the booth. The application for the shell scheme booth you submitted indicates that you have given up the right to make promotion in the air 2,400 mm above the ground. If you still need to make promotion in the air 2,400 mm above the ground, please pay the advertising fees according to the Provisions on the Management of the Exhibition Site.
 
14.
Q:  Our exhibition delegation has subscribed for shell scheme booths. But now we want to change the shell scheme booth into a booth on the raw space because of some reasons. What shall we do?
A: Any exhibitors who plan to reconstruct their shell scheme booths must submit a written application to CITM Secretariat before October 7, 2016, and pay relevant fee for the raw space booth. The reconstruction will not start before the application is approved; otherwise they could not get the related passes for reconstruction.
 
15.
Q:  The exhibition booth on the raw space I have rented does not exceed the limited height, nor cross the boundary, nor have any hidden troubles. Why does the CITM Organizing Committee ask me to amend my design? 
A: An exhibition booth on the raw space reflects not only the individual characteristics, but also the effects of the whole exhibition hall. Therefore the CITM Organizing Committee will put forward suggestions on the amendments of the following exhibition booths. The Approval for Outside Non-offical Contractor on Construction of Raw Space Booth will not be issued before the exhibitor has amended the design.
▲ The booth design that may affect the whole effects of the exhibition hall;
▲ The booth design that will seriously affect the neighboring booths;
▲ The booth design with hidden troubles for safety;
▲ The booth design with an unhealthy political tendency or with thelogo unsuitable for the overall atmosphere of the mart.
 

C. On-Site Registration
16.
Q:  I am an exhibitor. How can I get the admission ticket?
A: If you are the leader of a delegation, you will draw the EXHIBITOR passes when making registration, as well as the equal number of admission tickets. If you are not the delegation leader, you may contact the delegation leader timely on the site to get your “admission tickets” for the business-talks days.
 
17.
Q:  All the counterfoils of my admission ticket for the business-talks days have all been torn off, but I still need to enter the exhibition hall. What shall I do?
A: The admission ticket for the business-talk days has four counterfoils for the morning on November 11, the afternoon on November 11, the morning on November 12 and the afternoon on November 12, respectively. To guarantee to provide a favorable environment for business talks, the CITM Organizing Committee restricts the times of exhibitors’ entering and leaving the exhibition hall. Please use the admission ticket for the business-talk days strictly according to the dates on the counterfoils, and plan the times of entering and leaving the exhibition hall in advance.
 
18.
Q:  I am the leader of a delegation. When I came to CITM, I found a lot of registration centers. Which center shall I go to make registration?
A: There will be over 10 registration centers for one continuous-line service. Each registration center has its own responsibility and work (see the “Registration Procedure”). The center for your registration will be indicated in your Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth. The concrete procedures are as follows:
(1) Make sure of the number of the registration center indicated in your Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth.
(2) Then look for the registration center for exhibitors.
(3) If you have any questions, please contact the “Information Center on the site”.
 
19.
Q:  I am a delegation leader. I haven’t received the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth. How can I make registration?
A: CITM Secretariat reminds you: If you have purchased an exhibition booth of CITM, and has been confirmed by the CITM Organizing Committee, the Secretariat will send you the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth by mail about early October, 2016. You should pay attention to your mails when the time comes. If you fail to receive Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth, please contact CITM Secretariat timely.

20.
Q:  I am a delegation leader. What shall I do if I meet the following problems when making registration?
(1) I have lost the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth;
(2) I hold the duplicated copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth, and it is inconvenient for me to present the original copy;
(3) The original copy of my Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth has been lost, and someone else has made registration on the strength of my original copy. What can I do?
A:
(1) The original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth is the only evidence for you to participate in CITM. Please take good care of it. Once it is lost, please inform CITM Organizing Committee before October 27, 2016, and apply for a reissued Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth with the printed word “Reissued”.
(2) In principle, the CITM Organizing Committee will not accept the duplicated copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth. Because of special reasons, the original-copy holder must submit a statement to the CITM Organizing Committee before October 27, 2016, and sign a letter of authorization. The authorized person
will make registration at CITM on the strength of the duplicated copy while declaring the invalidation of the original copy.
(3) The CITM Organizing Committee will not bear any responsibilities for the false and wrong claim of the registration certificates because of the delegation leader’s fault. We would like to make it clear that the original copy of the Letter of Confirmation on CITM Booth is the only certificate for you to participate in CITM. Once it is lost, you should contact CITM Secretariat right away so as to avoid even greater losses for you.
 
21.
Q:  I am an exhibitor. What materials shall I get after registration?
A: After making registration, you will get: EXHIBITIOR passes: Four passes for each shell scheme booth or each nine-square-meter raw space booth. Admission tickets for the business-talk days: The quantity of the admission tickets is the number of EXHIBITIOR passes. Official Directory: Each shell scheme booth or each nine-square meter raw space booth will be given one copy of Official Directory.
 
 
D. Promotion
22.
Q:  As an exhibitor, how can I make full use of the Official Directory to promote our company?
A: The Official Directory is the only official list of CITM Organizing Committee. Hence it is necessary for every exhibitor to log its detailed information in the Official Directory. Meanwhile, you may also fill in the order form in the “Advertising and Sponsorship Guide”, and buy the advertising pages for the Official Directory. Please refer to the “Advertising and Promotion Guide” for details.
 
23.
Q:  Our booth does not have much space to store our exhibits. Can we place our materials on the neighboring passages?
A: The public passages are used for fire evacuation. They must be kept clean and unblocked all the time, and no exhibitors should occupy the passages. When designing a booth on the raw space, the designer must leave an enough storage space for holding materials. No exhibitor should occupy the passages and walls of its neighbors with any reasons. If an exhibitor violates the above-mentioned regulations,
the CITM Organizing Committee will have the right to clean the passages without the consent of the owner.
 
24.
Q:  Our delegation has rented a number of shell scheme booths, which are distributed on both sides of a passage. Can we construct an image door over the public passage?
A: The passage is not only the main way for exhibitors, but also a way to evacuate people in case of emergencies. The span and design of each passage have been strictly examined by the public security and fire control departments. Therefore the CITM Organizing Committee strictly prohibits exhibitors from occupying the passages, including the spaces above the passages.
Meanwhile, we suggest that you subscribe a raw space booth if you need a large booth, so as to avoid your booth being divided into several sections. In addition, you will save booths for more exhibitors to participate in CITM.
 
25.
Q:  Our delegation has missed the chance of applying for the free use of the press conference room. Can we rent other meeting rooms to hold our press conference?
A: Any exhibitor who fails to apply for the free use of the press conference room may rent other meeting rooms of its own accord, but it should abide by the following provisions:
(1) The renter must be an exhibitor of CITM 2016;
(2) The delegations renting the meeting rooms shall pay rent by themselves, and the CITM Organizing Committee will not issue extra EXHIBITOR passes;
(3) As for the matters on inviting journalists to the press conference or the presentation of products, exhibitors shall arrange the matters by themselves or fill in the Application (E) to ask the Organizing Committee for assistance.
 
26.
Q:  Can we invite our friends who are not exhibitors of CITM to hold the press conference in cooperation with us?
A: The CITM Organizing Committee does not encourage the joint convening of press conferences by exhibitors and non-exhibitors of CITM, and will refuse to issue extra EXHIBITOR passes.
 
27.
Q:  Our application for holding a press conference has been approved. Could you please tell me what equipment is free of charge during the press conference?
A: The press conference room of the CITM Organizing Committee provides the rostrum, microphones and some tables and chairs without charge. If you need to rent other furniture, decorations, projection apparatuses and so on, please contact Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
 
28.
Q:  I want to attend the press conference of CITM Organizing Committee. How shall I apply for it?
A: People will attend the press conference of CITM Organizing Committee on the strength of the invitations. Journalists may register with the news group, and with permit, they may attend the press conference.
 
29.
Q: : What news will be issued at the press conference?
A: The press conference of the CITM Organizing Committee is an official way to announce the progress of CITM and the statistical data on CITM.
 
30.
Q:  Who will be the guests of the Opening Ceremony ?
A: The guests to attend the Opening Ceremony will consist of overseas buyers and the honored guests specially invited by CITM Organizing Committee. Due to the limitation of the site, most exhibitors will not be invited. Overseas honored guests who want to attend it may directly contact CITM Honored Guests Group.
 
31.
Q:  I am an erection contractor. How shall I apply for the CONSTRUCTOR pass?
A: During the booth construction and withdrawing period in CITM 2014, the CONSTRUCTOR passes shall be made and managed by Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in a unified way. The person in charge of the work shall be responsible for applying for the passes. It means that the person in charge shall apply for the passes for all the workers in his/her team (Submit the ID card originals of the workers who need to apply for the passes on the site). All the persons in charge of the work who shall make an on-line appointment and registration or who shall apply for the passes on the site shall go through the real-name authentication at SNIEC 15 workdays before the start of exhibition preparation work.
 
32.
Q:  What’s the difference in applying for the CONSTRUCTOR Passes to construct and withdraw the booths during CITM 2016 from the previous?
A: In the previous marts, the CONSTRUCTOR passes were handled by the Official Contractor. But in 2014, the passes were made and managed by Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Please see the Appendix 3 of Part Six for details.
 
33.
Q:  How to proceed with the procedures if there are some temporary changes to the constructors?
A: If happens, the person in charge shall make direct contact with Shanghai New International Expo Centre. One CONSTRUCTOR Pass is just for one person. It is prohibited to borrow or use the passes by turns. Any violation of this regulation must be dealt with severely.
 
34.
Q:  Can the person in charge get the CONSTRUCTOR Passes once going through the procedure as required?
A: After going through the procedure as required, the person in charge must provide the Letter of Confirmation on Guarantee Deposit issued by the Official Contractor, and then get the passes. Outside Non-official Contractor can enter the exhibition hall on strength of the passes at 13:00, November 8 , 2016.
 
35.
Q:  Shall the drivers for shipping exhibits into and out of the exhibition grounds apply for the CONSTRUCTOR Passes?
A: All the workers (including the drivers and stevedores in fair site) for shipping, and loading and unloading the exhibits must apply for the CONSTRUCTOR Passes.
 
36.
Q:  How to go through the procedure for vehicles to enter the exhibition hall during construction period?
A: The vehicles shall be parked on the designated place under the command of the official company. After getting the TRANSPORT Passes, they can queue up for entering the halls to get exhibits unloaded.
