Electrifying Opening
Tourism
leaders from all over the world joined Shao Qiwei (centre, front row), chairman
of China National Tourism Administration, in launching CITM 2013 this
morning. The four-day travel trade show at Kunming International Exhibition and
Conference Centre features 2,359 booths – 418 of which belonging to
international sellers and welcomes participants from 102 countries and regions.
In his welcome speech, Shao emphasised the importance of tourism to the
national economy.
