On the morning of November 16, China International Travel Mart (CITM) raised its curtain at Shanghai New International Expo Center, following China International Import Expo (CIIE) that hit the headlines early this month. This travel gala renewed exhilarating ripples throughout the mega city, and brought itself into global focus, highlighting China’s openness and collaboration for common development. With unfolded arms, China and Shanghai now are ready to embrace friends and visitors from all over the world!

Later, their involvement in the kick-off ceremony came under spotlight, together with Shanghai Municipal Government’s ZONG Ming, Cook Islands Tourism’s Tai Tura and Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya. Reportedly, there were more than 300 delegates in attendance to witness the event.
